The event is expected to host over 500 exhibitors and approximately 7,000 buyers, along with hosted and VIP buyers and industry representatives from multiple markets. It will serve as a platform for tourism boards, airlines, hotels, travel advisors, tour operators and technology providers to connect with buyers in the North American travel ecosystem.

The 2026 edition will be centred on the theme “Travel Advisor of the Future,” reflecting ongoing changes in travel distribution, consumer behaviour and the increasing role of technology in the sector. The conference programme will include more than 100 speakers across 20+ sessions addressing topics such as artificial intelligence in travel, destination marketing, customer engagement and evolving distribution models.

According to organisers, the event will include a combination of pre-scheduled meetings, networking opportunities and conference sessions designed to facilitate business interactions and knowledge exchange. The buyer programme is expected to support more than 10,000 business meetings between exhibitors and qualified buyers.

“The travel industry is entering one of the most significant periods of transformation in its history,” said Simon Press, managing director international, Fairfest Inc. “Artificial intelligence is changing how travelers discover and book destinations. Consumer expectations continue to evolve, new distribution channels are emerging and competition for the American traveler has never been greater.

The U.S. outbound and domestic travel market continues to thrive. WTE Miami has been created to give the North American travel industry the practical knowledge and global business connections needed to succeed in this rapidly changing environment.”

The programme is being developed in collaboration with organisations including Host Agency Reviews (HAR), the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and the African Travel Association (ATA), contributing to a mix of industry perspectives and practical insights.

WTE Miami is being organised in collaboration with Miami International Airport and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. The event is also supported by industry associations such as Skål, ASTA, ATTA and ATA.

Participants are expected from more than 70 countries, including national tourism organisations, airlines, hospitality companies and travel technology providers. Confirmed participants include tourism boards from Jamaica, South Africa, China, the Cayman Islands, Belize and Honduras, as well as companies such as Royal Jordanian, Iberia, SKY Airline, Frenchbee, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels, Juniper Travel Technology and TBO.com.

WTE Miami is positioned as a business-to-business travel marketplace focused on facilitating partnerships, market access and information exchange within the global travel and tourism industry.
