JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru Appoints Deepak Pokhriyal as Director of Food & Beverage

JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru has appointed Deepak Pokhriyal as Director of Food & Beverage.
With nearly two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, including over fifteen years in leadership roles across India and the Middle East, Pokhriyal brings extensive expertise in luxury food and beverage operations, strategic planning, team leadership, and guest experience enhancement.
In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s food and beverage operations, focusing on elevating dining experiences, driving operational excellence, and strengthening the property’s culinary positioning across its restaurants, bars, and banquet spaces.
Over the course of his career, Pokhriyal has led large-scale restaurant and banquet operations for several leading international hospitality brands, including Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Etihad Airways, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Taj Hotels.
Commenting on the appointment, Gaurav Sinha, Hotel Manager, JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru, said that food and beverage remains central to the guest experience offered by the hotel, and noted that Pokhriyal’s global exposure, operational expertise, and commitment to service excellence make him a valuable addition to the team.
Sharing his thoughts on the new role, Pokhriyal said he looks forward to collaborating with the team to further strengthen the hotel’s culinary identity and curate distinctive and memorable dining experiences for guests.
