Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar Promotes Sangram Swain to Director of Finance

Courtyard by Marriott Mahabaleshwar has promoted Sangram Swain to the position of Director of Finance.

In his new role, Swain will continue to oversee the hotel’s financial operations, including fiscal management, regulatory and brand compliance, and support for business planning and performance. He will report to Sanjay Malhotra, Vice President – Finance Operations, South Asia, and Rahul Janve, General Manager of the hotel.

Prior to this promotion, Swain served as Assistant Director of Finance at the property, where he was involved in managing financial functions, streamlining processes, and supporting operational efficiency.

He brings experience from previous roles with hospitality brands including Holiday Inn Pune, Hyatt Pune, and Radisson Blu Pune. He has also been associated with Marriott properties such as Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri and JW Marriott Goa, where he worked across finance and accounting functions.

Swain holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and has pursued the ICWAI (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India) programme.

The promotion reflects the hotel’s focus on strengthening its financial management and supporting ongoing business operations.
