Qatar Duty Free Opens POP MART’s First Middle East Store at Hamad International Airport
Qatar Duty Free (QDF), in collaboration with POP MART, has opened the brand’s first store in the Middle East at Hamad International Airport in Doha. The launch introduces POP MART’s range of collectible products to travellers and marks the start of a new retail partnership between the two brands.
The opening was accompanied by a travel-themed fashion presentation featuring models showcasing flight-inspired looks paired with POP MART collectibles. The event reflected QDF’s approach to offering diverse and creative retail experiences for passengers.
The new store features a curated range of travel-exclusive POP MART collectibles, led by the “Twinkle Twinkle Wonderful Journey Series.” The collection includes travel items such as card holders, U-shaped pillows, storage bags, and crossbody bags designed for travellers and collectors.
A Qatar-exclusive item, the limited-edition blanket, is available as a gift with qualifying purchases. The blanket incorporates traditional Qatari motifs, signature date-red tones, and POP MART character designs, combining local and contemporary styles.
Located in Hamad International Airport’s North Node near Gate C18, close to Souq Al Matar and The Orchard, the 100-square-metre store combines modern design elements with subtle regional influences to reflect POP MART’s creative identity.

Open 24 hours daily, the POP MART store welcomes travellers to explore its range of character collectibles and travel-related merchandise. The collaboration underscores Qatar Duty Free’s focus on developing engaging retail concepts and enhancing the overall travel experience at Hamad International Airport.
