Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre has announced the appointment of Kumar Chinnasamy as the new Director of Engineering. He brings over a decade of experience in hospitality engineering and technical operations.
Kumar holds extensive expertise in preventive maintenance, energy management, sustainability initiatives, and large-scale infrastructure operations.
He has held engineering leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands including Accor Hotels and the Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Group)
In his new role at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, Kumar Chinnasamy will oversee the entire engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel and the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. His key responsibilities will include strengthening asset management, driving energy optimisation, enhancing sustainability practices, and supporting the property’s long-term operational excellence.
Speaking on his appointment, Kumar Chinnasamy said, “I am delighted to join Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre at a time when the property continues to evolve as a leading hospitality and MICE destination. I look forward to working closely with the team to enhance engineering excellence, drive sustainable practices, and support seamless guest experiences across the hotel and convention centre.”
