Qatar Airways Launches Non-Stop Flights to Hail, Saudi Arabia
Qatar Airways has launched three weekly nonstop flights between Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Hail International Airport (HAS), making Hail its 13th destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The new route reflects the airline’s continued network expansion within Saudi Arabia and reinforces the strategic importance of the Saudi market in its overall operations. The service is expected to support travel flows to the Kingdom’s north-central region from Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia via Doha.
With the introduction of Hail, Qatar Airways now operates more than 150 weekly flights to 13 destinations in Saudi Arabia, including Abha, AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, The Red Sea, Yanbu and Hail.
Hail Province, located in north-central Saudi Arabia, is known for its historical significance, cultural heritage and desert landscapes. The region was historically a key stop along ancient trade and pilgrimage routes and is home to UNESCO-listed rock art sites that document thousands of years of human activity. Today, Hail continues to develop as a regional and cultural centre within the Kingdom.
