Conrad Maldives Rangali Island Appoints Duncan Bond as Hotel Manager
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has appointed Duncan Bond as Hotel Manager. He brings over 15 years of international hospitality experience across Europe and the Africa–Indian Ocean region.
Bond has previously held leadership roles, including Director of Operations at Hilton The Hague, Operations Manager at Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa, and, most recently, General Manager of Hotel Indigo The Hague – Noordeinde Palace.

In his new role, Bond will oversee daily operations across the resort’s two islands. His responsibilities include service delivery, culinary operations and team management. He will focus on maintaining operational standards while refining guest experiences across departments.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Bond has Moluccan and British heritage. His leadership style reflects a multicultural background and international exposure. During his career, he has overseen property renovations, supported resort repositioning projects and introduced new dining and bar concepts.
Outside of hospitality, Bond has a background in competitive football and has completed the Cape Town Marathon. He often draws parallels between sport and hotel management, highlighting the importance of teamwork, communication and recognising individual strengths within a team structure.
