Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad Hosts Christmas Celebration with Orphanage Children

Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad marked the festive season with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, hosting 31 children from Aashri Society, a Miyapur-based organisation that runs an orphanage.

The event was designed as a shared festive experience, with children participating in a range of activities set against the hotel’s seasonal décor. The celebration included live Christmas carols, followed by a drawing competition where participants created their own interpretations of a Christmas tree.

An evening buffet was arranged for the children, featuring items such as pasta, French fries, doughnuts, cupcakes, and other festive dishes. For several children, this was their first opportunity to try these foods, enhancing the sense of discovery during the celebration.

Guests staying at the property also participated in the event, presenting gifts to the children and fostering a sense of community and shared celebration.

Commenting on the initiative, Ashwin Vaidya, General Manager of Marriott Executive Apartments Hyderabad, said the festive season offers an opportunity to bring people together and create moments of connection. He added that partnering with Aashri Society enabled the hotel team and guests to share the celebration with the children and experience the occasion’s joy together.

The collaboration with Aashri Society underscores the property’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and social initiatives. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony also marked the start of the hotel’s festive calendar, setting a tone of inclusion and shared celebration for the weeks ahead.

The evening concluded with the lighting of the Christmas tree, accompanied by laughter and smiles from the children, highlighting the value of shared experiences during the holiday season.
