Girish Divekar Appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport

Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport has appointed Girish Divekar as Director of Sales & Marketing.

Divekar returns to the hotel after previously serving in roles including Associate Director of Sales and Director of Sales between 2017 and 2022. His earlier tenure involved work related to sales operations and market engagement at the property.

He has over 18 years of experience in the hospitality sector, with a background in sales, revenue generation, and business development. His experience includes exposure to rooms, banqueting, catering, and food and beverage operations.
Prior to this appointment, Divekar was involved in revenue and business development initiatives, including work on pricing strategies and occupancy management. He has also contributed to corporate business development and food and beverage positioning.
In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s sales and marketing functions, with responsibilities including revenue planning, market segmentation, and partnership development.
