Karnataka Tourism Society to Host Central India B2B Roadshow Series from January 27–31, 2026

The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) has announced its Central India B2B Roadshow Series, scheduled from January 27 to 31, 2026, across five key cities — Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune. The initiative aims to strengthen tourism partnerships, expand market outreach, and present Karnataka’s tourism offerings to the Central Indian travel trade.

Karnataka’s tourism portfolio includes experiences across heritage, culture, eco-tourism, wellness, and adventure, and the roadshow series is planned as a platform for travel professionals to explore new business opportunities and collaborations.

Roadshow Schedule

  • Indore – January 27, 2026

  • Nagpur – January 28, 2026

  • Aurangabad – January 29, 2026

  • Nashik – January 30, 2026

  • Pune – January 31, 2026

Each city event will include interactive sessions, B2B meetings, and networking opportunities with travel agents, tour operators, and hospitality stakeholders.

The roadshow is being organised with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, Mysore Sales International Ltd. (MSIL), Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR), and the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), along with hotel groups, resorts, tour operators, and destination management companies.

Mr. K. Syama Raju, President, Karnataka Tourism Society, said, “Through this roadshow series, we aim to engage directly with the travel trade in Indore, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Pune. The objective is to build stronger collaboration and showcase Karnataka’s diverse tourism experiences. With support from our partners and hospitality stakeholders, we look forward to creating opportunities for tourism growth.”

Mr. Mohamed Farouk, Regional Director, Indiatourism – West & Central, said, “India Tourism–Mumbai is supporting KTS in this initiative. The Central India B2B Roadshow aligns with the spirit of ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ by encouraging domestic travel and highlighting Karnataka’s heritage, nature-based experiences, and adventure tourism. Partnerships between government and private stakeholders play an important role in strengthening regional tourism connectivity.”

The announcement follows KTS’s Destination Promotion B2B Roadshows held across four southern cities — Coimbatore (November 25), Cochin (November 26), Madurai (November 27), and Salem (November 28). These events attracted 42 stakeholders and engaged over 500 buyers, supported by India Tourism – Southern Region, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, KSTDC, Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd., and the South India Hotels and Restaurants Association.

Building on recent activity, KTS is also preparing additional tourism trade and capacity-building initiatives, including:

  • Explore Bidar & Kalburgi Destination Orientation Programme

  • Discover Bidar FAM Tour

  • Guide Training Programme at Bidar under capacity building activities

  • Discover Chikmagalur Standalone B2B Event, focused on coffee tourism and eco-tourism circuits

With participation from tourism stakeholders and institutional partners, the Central India B2B Roadshow Series is expected to generate engagement from travel agents, tour operators, and hospitality businesses, supporting further collaboration and destination development across Karnataka.
