APPOINTMENT
Marriott International has announced the promotion of Joydeep Das to the position of Multi- Property Director of Sales & Marketing for two Marriott properties in Kolkata.
Joydeep Das has been promoted to Multi-Property DOSM at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat and Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata.
He brings extensive expertise in hospitality sales, marketing and team leadership. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Sales & Marketing at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat where he spearheaded multiple marketing initiatives across digital platforms. He also led account management across corporate, MICE and wholesale segments, mentored high-performing teams.
Joydeep has also been a part of renowned hospitality brands, including ITC Hotels and IHCL Hotels (Taj). He has worked in key roles across ITC Royal Bengal, Welcomhotel by ITC, and Taj Fishermen’s Cove in Chennai.
In his new role, Joydeep will oversee the commercial strategy for both the properties, with a focus on revenue growth across rooms, food & beverage, rooms, banqueting while elevating market presence.
