IHCL Partners with Clarks Group for Marketing and Distribution of Four Hotels
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has entered into a marketing and distribution partnership with the Clarks Group of Hotels. As part of this collaboration, four Clarks properties in Agra, Jaipur, Khajuraho, and Lucknow will be integrated into IHCL’s SeleQtions portfolio, a collection of hotels known for offering regionally rooted hospitality experiences. The alliance also includes plans to support future growth of the Clarks brand.
Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, IHCL, said, “This partnership strengthens our presence in key tourist destinations across India. These properties reflect the cultural context of their locations. Through this arrangement, IHCL and Clarks aim to jointly contribute to the continued development of the Indian hospitality sector.”
The partnership combines IHCL’s marketing and distribution capabilities with Clarks’ operational presence.
Hotel Clarks Shiraz in Agra has 236 rooms and incorporates elements of Mughal architecture. Located near the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, the hotel offers views of the monuments. Clarks Amer in Jaipur, with 216 rooms, is set amid greenery and reflects local design. Clarks Khajuraho, with 104 rooms, is located near the UNESCO-listed temples and incorporates design elements influenced by local sculpture. Clarks Avadh in Lucknow, with 97 rooms, is located along the Gomti River, near Bara Imambara, and features elements of Awadhi architecture.
