Hilton Signs Second Hotel in Hyderabad to Support Business and Events Demand
Hilton has announced the signing of Hilton Hyderabad Gachibowli, a business and convention hotel located in Hyderabad’s financial district. The project is being developed in collaboration with Shree Venkateshwara Hotels and Convention and is expected to open in January 2029. This will be Hilton’s second Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the city, following the upcoming Hilton Hyderabad Genome Valley Resort & Spa.
Hyderabad, with a GDP of approximately $94 billion, is among India’s rapidly developing urban economies. The city hosts several multinational companies and offers over 110 million square feet of Grade A office space, driving ongoing demand for business and hospitality infrastructure.
Strategically positioned on ISB Road in Gachibowli, the hotel aims to serve Hyderabad’s commercial and technology sectors. The location provides access to major areas including HITEC City, Neopolis, and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The hotel will include 304 guest rooms and suites. Planned amenities include an all-day dining venue, two specialty restaurants, two bars, an executive lounge, business center, fitness facilities, spa, and both indoor and outdoor pools. It will also feature about 62,000 square feet of event space, including three ballrooms, a junior ballroom, and two meeting halls. The facility is being designed to accommodate business meetings, conferences, and other events.
Zubin Saxena, Senior Vice President and Regional Head, South Asia, Hilton, said, “This signing is part of our plan to grow in key markets. Hyderabad continues to attract business and investment, particularly in IT and biotechnology. With this development, we intend to support the city’s hospitality requirements.”
R. Venkat Ramana, Managing Partner of Shree Venkateshwara Hotels and Convention, added, “Our collaboration with Hilton aims to create a property that meets the evolving needs of business and event travelers. Hyderabad has seen increased demand for facilities that support both tourism and business-related travel.”
