IHCL Announces SeleQtions Hotel Project in Digha

New Development Expands Presence in Eastern India

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a SeleQtions hotel in Digha, West Bengal. The project will be developed as a greenfield property, adding to the company’s presence in emerging tourism destinations.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said that Digha continues to attract visitors as a beach destination, with increasing interest from both leisure and spiritual travellers. She added that the project aligns with IHCL’s strategy of expanding in developing tourism hubs and continues its association with the Ambuja Neotia Group.

Join Us In Exploring Digha – West Bengal's Hidden Gem

The upcoming 56-key IHCL SeleQtions Digha will include an all-day dining restaurant and a bar. The hotel will also offer meeting and event spaces, along with facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness centre and spa.

Located along the Bay of Bengal, Digha is known for its beaches and coastal landscape. The destination includes attractions such as New and Old Digha beaches, Talsari Beach, Digha Science Centre, Marine Aquarium & Regional Centre and Amarabati Park.

With this signing, IHCL will have a total of 17 hotels in West Bengal, including nine currently under development, as it continues to expand its footprint in the region.
