Emirates EK789 Adds Four Weekly Accra Flights

Emirates has launched an additional service between Dubai and Accra, with flight EK789 landing at Accra International Airport for the first time.

The new service increases Emirates’ operations between Dubai and Accra to 11 weekly flights, offering passengers more travel options and improved connectivity across the airline’s global network.

More Flights Between Dubai and Accra

Emirates EK789 operates every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, complementing Emirates’ existing daily service.

The revised schedule introduces an early-morning arrival in Accra, making it easier for passengers to connect from key markets, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The return service also offers convenient onward connections via Dubai to destinations across Asia, Australia, Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Emirates Reaffirms Commitment to Ghana

Salem Almana, Country Manager for Emirates in Ghana, said:

“The introduction of this additional service reflects our continued commitment to Ghana, where Emirates has operated for more than two decades. As travel demand grows, we are pleased to offer customers greater flexibility and more travel options.”

The expanded operations provide passengers with more travel choices while supporting tourism, trade and investment. Boeing 777-300ER Operations

The Emirates EK789 service is operated using the Boeing 777-300ER, featuring:

Eight First Class suites
42 Business Class lie-flat seats
304 Economy Class seats

Passengers also have access to Emirates’ inflight dining and the ice entertainment system, which offers more than 6,500 on-demand channels in over 40 languages, including Ghanaian content.

Emirates has served Ghana since 2004, supporting business travel, tourism, and trade through its Dubai hub while strengthening links between Ghana and destinations across its international network.
