NH Collection Palacio de Córdoba Opens in Historic Jewish Quarter
Restored Palace Blends Heritage with Contemporary Design
NH Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Minor Hotels, has opened NH Collection Palacio de Córdoba, marking a new phase for the brand in the city. The 18th-century palace has undergone a complete restoration and has been repositioned as a five-star hotel, combining contemporary design with preserved architectural elements.
Located in Córdoba’s Jewish Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the property—formerly known as NH Collection Amistad de Córdoba—stands along a preserved section of the city’s historic wall. Elements of the wall have been restored and integrated into the hotel’s design, with some guest rooms offering direct views of these structures. The hotel is situated near key landmarks such as Plaza de Maimónides, Casa Andalusí and the Mosque–Cathedral.

The site has evolved over the centuries, beginning as a Roman residence, then a Renaissance palace, and later a noble home. These layers of history are reflected in the building’s architecture, which combines traditional features with updated design elements.
Rooms, Dining and Guest Experience

The hotel offers 89 rooms, including 12 Junior Suites and five Suites. The interiors reflect a mix of historical references and modern design, with features such as separate living areas, multiple bathrooms and views of the city skyline, the Mosque–Cathedral tower or traditional courtyards.
Public spaces have also been redesigned, incorporating natural light, greenery and architectural details from the original structure. The hotel is organized around three courtyards—Patio de Petra, Patio Mudéjar and Patio del Compás—which form central gathering spaces.

The property introduces a new dining concept with the opening of Tablafina restaurant, offering a selection of regional and international dishes. Additional facilities include an outdoor pool located within a courtyard and a 24-hour fitness centre.
With this opening, NH Collection continues to expand its presence in culturally significant destinations, combining heritage properties with updated hospitality experiences.
