Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur Open Now
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, marking the return of the Hyatt Regency brand to Malaysia’s capital. The property is the seventh Hyatt hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Located in the KL Midtown neighbourhood, the hotel provides access to Kuala Lumpur’s business district, cultural landmarks, shopping areas, and the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The design, led by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, incorporates natural materials such as wood, stone, and paper, reflecting both contemporary and traditional influences.
The hotel features 410 accommodations, including 306 guestrooms and suites, as well as 104 serviced residences designed for both short-term and long-term stays. Guests booking Regency Club rooms have access to the Regency Club Lounge, which offers dedicated services.
Dining options include Midtown Brasserie, Midtown Lounge, China House, and ENSŌ Izakaya & Bar, each offering a different culinary focus. The hotel also features 16 function rooms spread across three floors, a ballroom, and an outdoor courtyard, all of which are suitable for events and meetings.

Recreational facilities include two infinity pools, a spa, a Kidz Club, and a 24-hour fitness centre. Guests of the serviced residences have access to a private pool and lounge on the 32nd floor.
As part of the World of Hyatt program, members can earn 500 Bonus Points for qualifying stays at Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown from August 26 to November 30, 2025.
