Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key Opens in Virginia
Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key, located at the base of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Arlington, Virginia. Rising 36 storeys above the Potomac River, the property is the first to showcase Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ updated brand identity through new design and service features.
“Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key reflects a renewed direction for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, one that aligns with the needs of today’s traveler while recognizing our history,” said Leonard Gooz, brand leader, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
“With its location close to Hilton’s global headquarters, this hotel is designed as a place where connections and experiences can take shape through meetings, dining, and cultural engagement.”
The hotel offers 331 guest rooms with interiors inspired by the flow of the Potomac River and the surrounding landscape. Facilities include 28,000 square feet of meeting and event space, nine meeting rooms, and The View at the Key on the 36th floor, which provides views across Washington, D.C., the Potomac River, and Arlington. Guests also have access to a fitness centre and ground-level retail outlets, including Scott’s Coffee.
Dining options include Locket, the property’s main restaurant, which features steakhouse classics, seafood, and seasonal dishes. The two-story space features private dining rooms ideal for small gatherings and intimate events.
Greg Raines of Dittmar Company, developer of the mixed-use project, said: “Our goal with Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key was to create a destination that combines event spaces with community features, offering a setting for both visitors and locals in Rosslyn.”
The development also includes 514 apartments and provides direct access to the Rosslyn Metro, Georgetown, the National Mall, and Reagan National Airport.
Hilton Arlington Rosslyn The Key participates in Hilton Honors, the guest loyalty program covering Hilton’s 24 hotel brands. Members booking directly through Hilton channels receive benefits such as flexible payment options, member discounts, complimentary standard Wi-Fi, and access to digital tools via the Hilton Honors mobile app.
