New Wyndham Grand hotel to expand presence in Goa’s Vagator market

Hotel Library Club Private Limited has announced the signing of Wyndham Grand Goa Vagator, a 120-key hotel being developed in partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. The property is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2029.

The agreement marks Wyndham’s third property in Goa, reflecting continued development activity in one of India’s established leisure destinations.

Located in Vagator in North Goa, the hotel is expected to cater to leisure travellers, meetings and events, destination weddings, and group business. The location continues to see demand from both domestic and international visitors.

Project to include rooms, dining, and event facilities

Once completed, Wyndham Grand Goa Vagator will include guest rooms and suites, social and dining spaces, an all-day dining restaurant, bar, and a speciality restaurant. Planned facilities also include a swimming pool, fitness centre, and event spaces designed to support meetings and social gatherings.

The promoters of Hotel Library Club Private Limited said the partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts aligns with growing demand for organised hospitality offerings in Goa. They added that the hotel is being positioned to serve both leisure and event-driven travel segments.

Rahool Macarius, Market Managing Director – Eurasia, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, noted that Goa remains an important market for the company’s expansion in India. He added that the signing supports Wyndham’s strategy to grow its presence in resort destinations and broaden its premium portfolio.

The development forms part of Wyndham’s wider expansion plans in India, with a focus on destinations that continue to see steady travel demand across segments.
