Hilton appoints Linda Griffin as Area General Manager – Canada

Hilton has announced the appointment of Linda Griffin as Area General Manager – Canada, overseeing a portfolio of full-service and focused-service hotels across Ontario, Québec, and British Columbia.

In her new role, she will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple properties, including Hilton Québec, Hilton Toronto, Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites, Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Belleville, and Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack. She will work closely with property leadership teams to support service delivery, team engagement, and operational performance across the region.

Griffin brings over three decades of international hospitality experience, with a career spanning five continents and eight countries. She began her career in 1988 at Delta Meadowvale Hotel (now Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale), and subsequently held reservations and front office roles at Hilton Toronto and Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel & Suites.

Her international career with Hilton includes leadership roles at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, followed by a position with Hilton’s Front Office Development team in the United Kingdom. She later served as Area Revenue Manager for the Mediterranean, supporting operations across 17 hotels in Southern Europe and the region.

She has also held senior operational and general management roles across multiple markets, including at the former Hilton Athens (now Conrad Athens The Ilisian), Athénée Palace Hilton Bucharest, and Hilton London Kensington. In addition, her career includes leadership roles with Jumeirah Group and Dimensions Health Centers Inc..

Griffin studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson Polytechnic University). In her new role as Area General Manager, she is based in Ontario at Hilton Toronto, where she supports regional operations, leadership development, and guest experience initiatives across Hilton’s Canadian portfolio.
