APPOINTMENT

Grand Hyatt Mumbai has announced the appointment of Namrata Sharma as the new Area Director of Human Resources.

 

Namrata brings with her over two decades of experience across luxury hospitality and corporate sectors with expertise in people’s strategy, leadership development, organizational culture, and HR excellence.

She has been a part of renowned hospitality brands including The Leela Palaces Hotels, Marriott International, The Westin, Taj Hotels, and Green Park Hotels & Resorts, along with early stints in the corporate sector with 24/7 Customer Private Limited and Wipro.

After joining the hospitality industry, Namrata has played a key role in building high-performing teams, strengthening talent pipelines, and fostering people-centric workplace cultures.

In her new role as Area Director of Human Resources, Namrata will oversee the people and culture strategy for Grand Hyatt Mumbai and designated Hyatt hotels in the region. Her key responsibilities will include talent acquisition and development, succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, and strengthening HR governance frameworks.
