Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata Appoints Punam Guha Roy as Assistant Director of Catering Sales

Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata has announced the appointment of Punam Guha Roy as Assistant Director of Catering Sales, effective March 2026.

Punam brings a strong background in hospitality sales and catering, with experience in delivering events and driving revenue growth across competitive markets. Prior to joining Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata and Ozone Convention Centre, she was associated with Taj Ganga Kutir Resort & Spa as Catering Sales Manager, where she contributed to strengthening the resort’s catering portfolio and expanding its events business.

Her professional journey also includes roles with established hospitality brands such as Hyatt Regency Kolkata and Taj Taal Kutir. She began her career with CHROME Hotels, where she developed foundational experience in the hospitality sector.

With a strong understanding of the local market, client relationship management, and strategic sales planning, Punam is expected to further strengthen the hotel’s catering and events vertical. In her new role, she will work closely with Utsav Chatterjee, Assistant Director of Sales, to drive business growth and enhance overall performance.

This appointment reflects Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata’s continued focus on building a robust commercial team and strengthening its position within the city’s dynamic hospitality landscape.
