Emirates Activates Interline Partnership with Bahamasair for Connections to The Bahamas
Emirates has activated an interline partnership with Bahamasair to enhance travel options for customers heading to The Bahamas.
The partnership allows Emirates customers to connect from two Florida gateways—Miami and Orlando—to two destinations in The Bahamas: Nassau/Paradise Island and Freeport on Grand Bahama Island. This arrangement simplifies travel by enabling a single-ticket journey and a unified baggage policy across both airlines.
The interline agreement follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in June between Emirates and Bahamasair. Emirates’ flights to Miami operate daily using retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft with four cabin classes, while flights to Orlando operate five times weekly on a three-class Boeing 777. From these gateways, passengers can transfer to Bahamasair services on Boeing 737 aircraft to reach The Bahamas’ main destinations.

Earlier in 2025, Emirates also signed an MoU with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas to jointly promote tourism in the Caribbean nation.
