Emirates expands China connectivity through interline agreement with Loong Air
Emirates and Loong Air have signed an interline agreement that strengthens Emirates’ presence in China and provides customers with access to additional domestic destinations beyond the airline’s own network.
Effective immediately, Emirates customers can connect to 22 destinations across China operated by Loong Air via Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. These cities span key regions across China: East, Northeast, South, Central, and Southwest.
The agreement allows customers to book multi-airline itineraries under a single ticket, with aligned baggage policies and fare conditions across the journey. The expanded network improves connectivity for both leisure and business travellers, offering access to domestic cities such as Zhengzhou, Changchun, Haikou, Xiangyang, and Dazhou.
Tickets are available through emirates.com, online travel agencies, and major global distribution systems via travel agents. Customers booking on Emirates’ official website can also use local digital payment options, including WeChat Pay and Alipay.
Emirates in China

The interline partnership with Loong Air forms part of Emirates’ continued focus on the Chinese market. In 2025, the airline added Shenzhen and Hangzhou to its network and introduced Premium Economy on these routes, alongside the return of the A380 on Shanghai services.
Emirates has operated in mainland China since 2004. It currently serves five cities—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hangzhou—with 49 weekly flights using a mix of Airbus A380, A350, and Boeing 777 aircraft.
Beyond Loong Air, Emirates also maintains partnerships with Air China, China Southern Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines, enabling access to more than 110 additional destinations across China via its existing gateways.
