Eco Hotels and Resorts Limited has announced the appointment of Biplab Banerjee as its new Corporate General Manager – Operations and Business Development.
Biplab Banerjee has been appointed as Corporate General Manager- Operations & Business Development and Executive Assistant to the Chairman at Eco Hotels & Resorts Limited.
He brings over two decades of leadership experience in hospitality industry with extensive expertise in cluster and resort management, constructive planning, operational optimization, financial performance, and guest experience management.
Before joining Eco Hotels, Biplab held multiple senior leadership roles at Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited, where he served as Cluster Manager for Gujarat and Maharashtra, and as General Manager across Puducherry, Virajpet, and Kumbhalgarh.
Biplab has also been recognized with several industry accolades, including ‘RCI Gold Crown Awards,’ ‘Gujarat Tourism Awards,’ and ‘Indian Icon Awards.’
In his new role role, Biplab will oversee pan-India operational performance, tactical business development initiatives, pre-opening and expansion projects, while also working closely with the Executive Chairman on corporate strategy, governance, and execution priorities.

Biplab Bannerjee holds a Diploma in Hotel Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management, along with certifications in Total Quality Management, hospitality administration, finance, and leadership development.
