BA Cityflyer Introduces Three New European Routes for Summer 2026
BA Cityflyer, British Airways’ wholly owned subsidiary, has announced three new routes to leisure destinations across France, Italy and Spain for the summer 2026 season.
The additions — serving Saint-Tropez, Olbia and San Sebastián — expand the airline’s network to nearly 30 destinations across Europe, giving customers more travel options for their upcoming holidays.
Ian Romanis, Managing Director of BA Cityflyer, said: “We’re pleased to grow our network next year with three new routes. Adding Toulon Saint-Tropez from London City Airport gives customers more choice and convenience when travelling to the French Riviera.
“Olbia from Stansted Airport supports travel demand for Sardinia’s beaches and Mediterranean landscapes, and complements existing services from London City and Heathrow. San Sebastián from Glasgow offers an accessible break for our Scottish customers. These routes add more options and flexibility for those planning travel in 2026.”
All BA Cityflyer flights include a Club Europe cabin with additional personal space, increased baggage allowances, priority boarding and a selection of meals with a full bar service.
London City to Toulon Saint-Tropez, France
From 23 May to 1 September 2026, BA Cityflyer will operate twice-weekly flights (Tuesdays and Saturdays) between London City Airport and Toulon Saint-Tropez. This is a new destination for British Airways and the closest airport to Saint-Tropez at approximately 30 miles away. Toulon Saint-Tropez joins Nice, Bergerac and Chambéry on BA Cityflyer’s France network.
London City Airport offers quick access to central London and streamlined terminal processes.
Fares start from £127 each way, including hand baggage.

London Stansted to Olbia, Sardinia
Flights from London Stansted to Olbia will run from 23 May to 27 September 2026. Sardinia recorded 18.9 million overnight stays in 2024, indicating rising interest in the region. The route will operate on Saturdays and Sundays, giving customers weekend access to Sardinia’s beaches and coastal landscapes.
BA Cityflyer also operates seasonal flights from London City to Olbia. In summer 2026, the airline will fly to Olbia up to five times weekly from London City and twice weekly from London Stansted.
Fares start from £127 each way, with cabin baggage included.

Glasgow to San Sebastián, Spain
From 18 July to 8 September 2026, BA Cityflyer will operate twice-weekly flights between Glasgow and San Sebastián, known for its food culture and coastal setting. The airline already serves San Sebastián from London City and Edinburgh. In summer 2026, San Sebastián will be served up to three times weekly from London City and twice weekly each from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Fares from Glasgow start at £113 each way, including baggage.
