PATA Elects Henry Oh as Chair, Appoints Ben Montgomery as Vice Chair

Pacific Asia Travel Association has announced the election of Henry Oh as Chair, following ratification at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on May 12.
Henry Oh, Chairman of Global Tours Ltd., takes on the role with a focus on strengthening collaboration within the Association and building wider industry partnerships.
Alongside him, Ben Montgomery, Corporate Ambassador at Centara Hotels & Resorts, has been appointed Vice Chair.
The Association also confirmed four new members to its Executive Board: Jackson Pek, Chief Corporate & Legal Affairs Officer at Amadeus; Maria Paz Alberto, President of Ark Travel Express, Inc.; Siripakorn Cheawsamoot, Director-General at Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration; and Shuichi Kameyama, Chief Consultant at JTB Tourism Research & Consulting Co..
They join Dr Sharzede Salleh Askor, CEO of Sarawak Tourism Board, who continues as a member of the Executive Board.
Henry Oh leads Global Tours Ltd., one of the earliest Asian members of PATA. He has contributed to tourism development and international partnerships for Korea, and has been associated with initiatives including the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. He currently serves as Immediate Past Chairman of the Korea Association of Travel Agents.
Ben Montgomery represents Centara across industry bodies and currently holds positions with the Thai Hotels Association and the ASEAN Hotel & Restaurant Association. She has also contributed to tourism and hospitality initiatives in Thailand through advisory and academic roles.
PATA’s newly appointed leadership team is expected to support the association’s continued development and engagement across the travel and tourism sector.
