Dharmendra R. S. Appointed COO of Icon Hotels by Bhagini Hospitalities

Bhagini Hospitalities Pvt Ltd has appointed Dharmendra R S as Chief Operating Officer of Icon Hotels, as the group accelerates its expansion across India.

In his new role at Icon Hotels, Dharmendra R S will oversee operations, growth strategy, and organisational alignment, with a focus on scaling the brand’s portfolio towards 100+ hotels. His mandate includes strengthening operational frameworks, streamlining processes, and supporting expansion across Tier 2 cities and emerging segments such as spiritual tourism.

He brings diverse experience across hospitality, retail, F&B, and entertainment, with expertise in multi-format operations and business expansion. His leadership is expected to support the group’s vision of building a scalable and integrated hospitality model.

Alongside hotel expansion, he will also contribute to the growth of the group’s F&B portfolio, including brands such as Proxy Bar, Andhra Grand, Telugu Bilas, Telugu Vilas, and Kalpaney, along with upcoming concepts like Jamming Goat.

The appointment comes as the group enters a high-growth phase, with plans to expand across hospitality formats and explore the luxury segment in the coming years. Dharmendra R S is also actively involved in industry forums and currently serves as Senior Vice President of the AHPWI South India Chapter.

This leadership addition reflects Icon Hotel’s focus on strengthening its organisational structure while building a diversified, multi-segment hospitality portfolio.
