The company has also introduced several new properties this year, including Royal Hideaway Casablanca and Occidental Casablanca Medina in Morocco, Barceló Roma in Italy, Barceló Dresden Newa in Germany, Occidental Istanbul City in Turkey, and Occidental Cairo Gran Museum in Egypt.

Sustainability remains a key area of focus for the group through its Barceló ReGen programme, which aims to reduce environmental impact while contributing to local communities and economies.
