He began his journey with IHCL in 2010 at Taj West End Bengaluru as a Security Officer and quickly progressed through the ranks to Security Executive and Security In-Charge within a few years. In 2013, he moved to Taj Kovalam as Security Manager, where he served until 2016. He later held key roles across IHCL properties in Bengaluru, including Vivanta by Taj Residency Road and Taj MG Road Bengaluru.

In 2023, he returned to Taj West End as Director of Security and was subsequently promoted in 2024 to Cluster Security Director, overseeing security operations across 10 IHCL hotels.

Throughout his career, Vanchira has managed high-profile assignments, including Head of State visits, VVIP movements, celebrity engagements and international cricket teams, demonstrating strong capabilities in handling sensitive situations with discretion and precision. He has been recognised as a Security Champion within Taj Hotels and was also selected for the Tata Group Disaster Management Team in Karnataka.

In his new role at Taj Dubai, he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, preparedness and guest confidence at the property.
