IndiGoStretch Earns Industry Recognition at WTCE 2026

IndiGoStretch Awards Highlight Focus on Design and Passenger Comfort

IndiGo has received multiple awards for IndiGoStretch, its business-class product, at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg, Germany. The recognitions were spread across three industry platforms, reflecting the airline’s approach to onboard design, comfort, and customer experience.

IndiGo was awarded the Gold Award – TravelPlus Judges’ Award for Innovation at the TravelPlus Airline Amenity Awards 2026 for its Blanket Collectable, known as the IndiGoStretch overlay. The award focuses on onboard hospitality elements, including design, comfort, sustainability, and usability. The overlays are designed to reflect regional craft influences and serve as keepsakes for passengers. Each overlay is accompanied by a booklet and a reusable fabric bag.

At the Onboard Hospitality Awards 2026, IndiGo received a Highly Commended recognition in the Best Onboard Textiles category. The airline’s business class textile range includes jacquard overlays, pillow covers featuring a world map, and onboard items such as eye masks and anti-skid socks. The evaluation considered design, material quality, comfort, and practicality.

IndiGo was also named the winner of the PAX International Readership Award for Best Business Class Bedding/Soft Product – South Asia. The award is based on votes from aviation professionals across PAX International and PAX Tech readerships and recognises consistency in onboard product design and delivery.

IndiGoStretch is offered on routes including Manchester, Amsterdam, London Heathrow, and Athens. The product includes complimentary meals and beverages, additional legroom, reclining seats, and services such as priority check-in, boarding flexibility, advance seat selection, and increased baggage allowance. Onboard elements also include overlays, pillows, a sleep spray, and basic amenity kits designed to support rest during the journey.
