Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel Appoints Vignesh Sharma as Director of Sales

Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel has announced the appointment of Vignesh Sharma as its Director of Sales. The appointment is part of the hotel’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its commercial leadership team.

Vignesh Sharma brings several years of experience in hospitality sales across multiple hotel brands. He began his career with IHG at Crowne Plaza Chennai, where he developed his foundation in sales operations. He has since held roles with The Westin Hyderabad, Crowne Plaza Gurgaon, and The Westin Pune.

Over the course of his career, Sharma has managed sales functions across different market segments, with responsibilities including stakeholder engagement, revenue generation, and business development. His experience spans competitive urban markets and includes exposure to varied customer segments.

Prior to this role, Sharma was associated with Fairfield by Marriott Ahmedabad, where he was involved in sales strategy and market positioning initiatives. His role included driving business development efforts, expanding market segments, and supporting revenue performance.

In his new position at Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel, Sharma will oversee sales strategy, with a focus on market expansion, partnerships, and revenue management. His responsibilities will include strengthening the hotel’s positioning among business and leisure travellers visiting Gujarat.

The appointment reflects the hotel’s focus on enhancing its commercial operations and maintaining consistency in guest experience delivery.
