APPOINTMENT
Hilton Mumbai International Airport has announced the appointment of Sandip Nalawade as the new Director of Engineering.

Sandip brings over 23 years of extensive experience in hospitality engineering across leading brands including Hilton, Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Sofitel, Conrad, JW Marriott, Accor and Hyatt. He holds extensive expertise in engineering operations, sustainability, energy management, large-scale hotel infrastructure, HVAC, electrical systems, water management, and building management technologies to enhance asset performance and guest experience.
Sandeep has previously led projects that delivered LEED Platinum and ISO 14001 certifications, driven energy and water efficiency initiatives, and overseen key complex engineering operations for luxury hotels and mixed-use developments.

Commenting on the appointment, Deepak Kumar, General Manager, Hilton Mumbai International Airport, said: “Sandip’s deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills and proven track record in sustainability and asset excellence make him a valuable addition to our leadership team. His experience across global luxury brands and his familiarity with Hilton standards will play a key role in strengthening our infrastructure and supporting our long-term sustainability goals.”
In his new role as Director of Engineering, Sandeep will oversee all engineering and facility operations at Hilton Mumbai International Airport.
