Coast Hotels Announce Three New Leadership Promotions

Coast Hotels Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of APA Hotel Canada, Inc., has announced key leadership promotions.

Nooshi Akhavan- Promoted to Vice President, Commercial Strategy

Nooshi Akhavan has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Strategy. She has been with Coast Hotels for nine years, most recently serving as Director, Revenue Performance & Distribution, where she has led advancements in revenue management technology and data-driven decision-making.

 In her new position, she will be responsible for driving commercial strategy across the portfolio and supporting continued growth for the brand.

Glen Merx- Promoted to Vice President, People & Culture

Glen Merx has been promoted to Vice President, People & Culture. He has been with Coast Hotels for over nine years and previously served as Director, People & Culture, where he helped strengthen Coast Hotels’ workplace culture and oversaw leadership development programs.

In his new role, Merx will lead the People & Culture function, supporting team engagement and capability.

Amin Himani- Promoted to Director, Revenue Performance & Distribution

Amin Himani has been promoted to Director- Revenue Performance & Distribution. He has played a key role in advancing the company’s commercial performance through his analytical expertise and collaborative approach. In his new position, Amin will lead revenue performance and distribution strategy for the brand.

Brigitte Diem-Guy has stepped down from her role as Vice President, Revenue Strategies and Communication, effective December 1, 2025. She will remain with Coast Hotels as Brand & Communications Consultant, continuing to oversee brand and content strategy, internal and external communications, public relations, social media and influencer strategy, creative services, and digital marketing strategy.
