Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort Introduces Sala Lakorn Theatrical Dining Experience
Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort has announced the opening of Sala Lakorn, a new dining and cultural venue located along the Chao Phraya River. The concept combines Thai cuisine with a staged performance titled “The Eternal Siam.” The show is directed by Manop Meejamrat (Kru Nai), recipient of the Silpathorn Award for Performing Arts, presented by Thailand’s Office of Contemporary Art and Culture.
“The Eternal Siam” presents contemporary interpretations of Thai cultural traditions through music, visual elements, and movement. The program includes a welcome sequence featuring the Flower Queen, a tribute to Mae Khongkha, a Nang Yai shadow performance, and a closing scene referencing the Suphannahong Royal Barge.

During the performance, guests are served Sala Lakorn’s international buffet. The menu features Thai dishes such as Gang Keaw Wan Gai, Pla Pad Pak Preaw Wan, a crab omelette, and live-action Som Tum stations, alongside a BBQ seafood selection that includes river prawns and slipper lobster. Additional stations highlight influences from Chinatown and Indian cuisine. Desserts include traditional Thai sweets and international selections.

Sala Lakorn is open daily from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort.
