Hilton Opens Tru by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton in Saltillo, Mexico
Hilton has announced the opening of Tru by Hilton Saltillo and Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo, a dual-branded property located in the capital of Coahuila de Zaragoza state. Owned by American Hotels Group, the hotel is designed to serve both short-stay and extended-stay travellers.
The property is situated on Saltillo’s main highway, three miles from downtown and less than eight miles from Aeropuerto Internacional Plan de Guadalupe. It offers access to Parque Centro shopping complex, Museo del Desierto, and nearby industrial parks.
Shared amenities include a daily hot breakfast buffet, an on-site restaurant with northern Mexican cuisine, a bar, a 24-hour convenience store, a heated pool, fitness facilities, and an engaging lobby area. The hotel also provides eight meeting rooms, offering 4,300 square feet of event space.
Tru by Hilton Saltillo
The 74-room Tru by Hilton Saltillo is the second hotel for the brand in Mexico. Rooms feature functional layouts with workspaces, large windows, and modern bathrooms. The lobby includes designated areas for socializing, working, and recreation, highlighted by a locally inspired mural.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo
The 84-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo is the brand’s third property in Mexico. The apartment-style suites include separate living and sleeping areas, fully equipped kitchens, and contemporary furnishings, making them suited for extended stays.
Guests at both hotels can access Hilton Honors benefits, including flexible booking options, member discounts, and standard Wi-Fi.
Hilton currently operates more than 290 hotels and resorts across the Caribbean and Latin America, with over 140 projects under development in the region.
