APPOINTMENT
IHG Luxury & Lifestyle Americas has announced the appointment of Gina Genna to the role of Senior Area Director of Marketing for the Texas region.

In this expanded role, Genna will oversee marketing strategy and operations for InterContinental properties in San Antonio and Houston, in addition to continuing her responsibilities at InterContinental Miami.
Gina Genna has served as Director of Marketing at InterContinental Miami for the past five years. In that capacity, she has managed all aspects of branding, communications, social media, digital marketing, and reputation management for the hotel and its outlets, including Toro Toro, Freddy’s Speakeasy, BlueWater, Olé, and mySpa. She will maintain her leadership at the Miami property while supporting and guiding the marketing teams at the Texas hotels.

“Gina has done an incredible job for us over the last five years, making a significant impact on our marketing efforts and overall success of the Hotel,” says Glenn Sampert, General Manager, Regional Director of Operations. “In her new role, she will bring that same level of excellence to support the marketing efforts of our exceptional Texas hotels.“
Gina began her career in hospitality at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, where she held several advertising roles over a seven-year period. Her work included campaign development and support for the launch of entertainment, dining, and gaming venues.
Originally from New Jersey, Gina holds degrees from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Florida Atlantic University.
In her new position, she will focus on aligning regional marketing strategies across the three InterContinental properties, with an emphasis on operational consistency and team development.
