Delta Air Lines Recognized in Forbes’ 2025 Best Employers by State List
Delta Air Lines has been named among the leading American employers in three states by Forbes in its seventh annual Best Employers by State ranking.
Out of 1,417 companies included, Delta ranked No. 1 in Georgia, Michigan, and Utah. The airline also placed No. 4 in New York and Massachusetts, and No. 8 in Minnesota. Delta and Costco were the only companies to hold the No. 1 position in three different states.
This marks the fourth consecutive year Delta has ranked No. 1 in Georgia and the second consecutive year in Michigan.

As part of this year’s survey results, Delta and Allison Ausband, Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer, were spotlighted. Ausband noted that creating a supportive environment is central to how the airline approaches both its employees and customers.
“It sounds very simple, but if you take care of your people, then they’re going to take care of the customer.”

Delta offers its employees a range of benefits, including standby travel, profit sharing, training opportunities, healthcare coverage, family care, and up to five weeks of paid vacation.
