APPOINTMENT

ibis Styles Dragon Mart Dubai has announced the appointment of Deepika Biju as its new General Manager.

Deepika Biju

Deepika holds over 25 years of hospitality experience across Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East.

At ibis Styles Dragon Mart Dubai, Deepika has introduced a new monthly initiative named “General Manager’s Breakfast Table”, where a team member from a different department shares insights directly with her over breakfast-strengthening engagement, interdepartmental understanding and morale.

Deepika began her career by working as a chef at Taj Hotel. Her professional journey spans across industrial catering, event management, sales & marketing, revenue strategy and hotel general management. She has held senior roles with renowned brands including Taj, Hilton, Rotana, Melia, and Compass Group.

Deepika has also been nominated for the Hilton Global Summit Award where she was recognized for her leadership skills that resulted in reopening of three hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her strategic and people-first approach also led to her appointment as an advisor to the Hilton Centre of Excellence.
