NBA Legend, Tony Parker visits Emirates’ newly opened Travel Store in Paris

Last week in Paris, Emirates, the NBA’s Official Airline Partner, gave 15 local youths from Sport dans la Ville an extraordinary experience featuring NBA Legend Joakim Noah. Throughout the session, Noah taught them key basketball skills, such as passing, shooting, and rebounding, while offering encouragement and positive reinforcement.

Sport dans la Ville focuses on integrating youth from underprivileged neighbourhoods into society and the workforce through sports. Additionally, the children could engage with Jr. NBA coaches, enjoy friendly games, and receive souvenir photos to take home at the event’s conclusion.

As the Official Airline Partner and Title Partner of the Emirates NBA Cup, Emirates links fans to basketball through community initiatives and exclusive experiences. By backing youth basketball clinics and crafting unforgettable moments at NBA events, this partnership demonstrates Emirates’ dedication to uniting people via sports.

The airline also welcomed NBA Legend Tony Parker earlier this week to its newly opened Travel Store in Paris, offering guests a chance to meet the player and take home signed merchandise.

The NBA Paris Games 2025, sponsored by Tissot, occurred from January 23 to 25. Basketball enthusiasts experienced an engaging atmosphere at the NBA House in Carreau du Temple, featuring live entertainment, photo spots, merchandise giveaways, and a unique playground for fan-player interactions. Additionally, fans had the thrilling chance to participate in the ‘Around the World Challenge’ at the Emirates booth to win an authentic Emirates Wilson ball.

Emirates has been active in France for over 30 years. The airline presently operates 21 weekly flights to Paris, which include three daily flights to A380, a daily service to Nice, and a daily flight to Lyon, utilizing Boeing 777 aircraft (this will transition to a daily service to A350 beginning June 2025).
