Appointment Effective April 2026

Yum! Brands has announced the appointment of Kathleen (Leeny) K. Oberg, former Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Development at Marriott International, to its Board of Directors.

The appointment became effective on 1 April 2026.

Experience in Finance and Global Operations

Oberg brings nearly three decades of experience in the hospitality sector, with a background in financial leadership, growth strategy and operational management.

About Marriott International | Corporate Information

Oberg served as Chief Financial Officer at Marriott International from 2016 to 2026 and as Executive Vice President, Development, from 2023 to 2026. During this period, she was involved in financial planning and development initiatives across the company’s global portfolio.

Earlier in her career, she served as CFO of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company from 2013 to 2015 and held several senior roles within Marriott across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

She began her career with Marriott in 1999 in investor relations and has also worked with companies including Sodexo, Sallie Mae, Goldman Sachs and Chase Manhattan Bank. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Adobe Inc..
