WTTC Launches Seven Tourism Investment Principles

According to WTTC, the framework is intended to help destinations create conditions that encourage private sector participation in tourism projects.

The principles focus on policy stability, long-term planning, government support and cooperation between industry stakeholders. These factors can contribute to economic growth, employment opportunities, infrastructure development and tourism sector expansion.

The framework also highlights the importance of aligning tourism development strategies with market demand, connectivity and workforce readiness to support future investment opportunities.

As destinations continue to compete for tourism-related investment, WTTC believes that creating a clear and stable investment environment can help support sustainable development and strengthen the sector’s long-term resilience.
