Hilton to Open Flagship Hotel in Thessaloniki

Hilton Expands Greece Portfolio with Thessaloniki Hotel
Hilton has announced plans to open its first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Thessaloniki, Greece, following the signing of a management agreement with DIMAND. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2029.
The project will form part of the redevelopment of the city’s historic FIX district, supporting the transformation of the former brewery site into a mixed-use urban destination.
New Hotel Planned for 2029

Hilton Thessaloniki will offer 184 guest rooms across two buildings. The development includes a newly constructed hotel with 154 rooms and a restored heritage building featuring 30 rooms, preserving elements of the former FIX brewery.
The hotel will include two restaurants, two bars, meeting and event facilities, a fitness centre and a rooftop swimming pool overlooking the city and the sea.
Supporting the FIX District Redevelopment
Developed by DIMAND and designed under a masterplan by Foster + Partners, the project forms part of the wider regeneration of the FIX district.
The neighbouring building will house the Philharmonic Orchestra and exhibition spaces, contributing to the area’s development as a cultural destination.
Hilton Expands in Greece
The company said the project reflects its continued growth in Greece, where the company now has more than 70 operating and pipeline hotels.
Company representatives said Thessaloniki’s growing tourism sector and business activity make the city an important location for future expansion, while the new hotel is expected to contribute to the ongoing redevelopment of one of the city’s historic districts.
