Emirates Expands Premium Economy to Six Cities in India

Emirates will introduce its Airbus A380 on the Dubai–Delhi route from 25 October, making Delhi the airline’s third Indian destination to be served by the double-decker aircraft after Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The A380 will operate on flights EK512/513 in a four-class configuration, joining the airline’s retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft already operating on the route with Premium Economy.

Premium Economy Across All Delhi Flights

From October, all four daily Emirates flights between Dubai and Delhi will offer four cabin classes, including Premium Economy. The cabin features wider leather seats, additional legroom, increased recline, upgraded dining and a range of onboard amenities.

The expansion means Premium Economy will be available on flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi, providing travellers with more options across the airline’s Indian network.

Kolkata to Receive Airbus A350

Emirates will also introduce its Airbus A350 on the Kolkata–Dubai route from 25 October, replacing the current Boeing 777 service on flight EK570/571.

Together with the retrofitted Boeing 777 operating EK572/573, Premium Economy will be available on all 12 weekly flights between Kolkata and Dubai.

Customer Experience Enhancements

Emirates is also expanding its customer services in India. The airline has opened retail travel stores in Delhi and Mumbai, with additional outlets planned for Hyderabad and Bengaluru, as well as a dedicated call centre in Mumbai.

Passengers travelling from India can continue to enjoy regionally inspired meals, multilingual cabin crew and an inflight entertainment system offering more than 6,500 channels, including content in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Gujarati, Kannada and other regional languages.

Emirates currently serves Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram, operating 167 weekly flights between India and Dubai with onward connections to destinations across its global network.
