Goa Tourism Showcases at TTF Kolkata

Goa Tourism Highlights New Experiences for Eastern India Market

The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, will participate in the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) Kolkata 2026, taking place from 10–12 July at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata.

The Goa delegation will be led by Rohan A. Khaunte, Minister for Tourism, Government of Goa, who will engage with travel trade partners, airlines, investors, media representatives and tourism stakeholders from across Eastern India.

Expanding Tourism Partnerships

Goa Tourism will use the event to strengthen its engagement with the Eastern India market while promoting the state as a year-round destination with a range of travel experiences beyond its beaches.

The participation also aims to build stronger partnerships with the travel trade in West Bengal and neighbouring states.

At TTF Kolkata, Goa Tourism will present a range of tourism experiences under its ‘Goa Beyond Beaches’ initiative. These include monsoon tourism, hinterland travel, heritage and cultural attractions, wellness retreats, luxury hospitality and regenerative tourism.

The Goa Pavilion will feature destination presentations, interactive sessions, curated travel itineraries and information on new tourism offerings designed to encourage longer stays and repeat visits.

Spotlight on Monsoon Tourism

The Department will also promote Goa’s monsoon season, highlighting its green landscapes, waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries, local festivals and regional cuisine.

Speaking ahead of the event, Rohan A. Khaunte said that Eastern India continues to be an important market for Goa, with travellers increasingly seeking authentic, year-round travel experiences. He added that the state’s focus remains on promoting tourism that supports local communities while offering visitors meaningful experiences.
