WTTC Global Summit to Feature Italian Travel & Tourism Leaders in Rome

The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) will hold its 25th Global Summit in Rome from September 28 to 30, in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Tourism, ENIT S.p.A. (Italian National Tourist Board), the Municipality of Rome, and the Lazio Region.

The programme will include contributions from Italian industry leaders, including WTTC Chair-Elect Manfredi Lefebvre, Executive Chairman of AKTG, as well as Abercrombie & Kent and Crystal Cruises. Other participants include:

  • Massimo Caputi, President & Owner, Terme & Spa Italia

  • Paolo Barletta, CEO, Arsenale Spa

  • Pierfrancesco Vago, Executive Chairman, MSC Cruises

Rome to Welcome the World for WTTC's 25th Global Summit

The agenda will cover themes such as destination stewardship, artificial intelligence, and sustainable aviation, with a focus on shaping the sector’s next phase of development.

According to WTTC’s Economic Impact Research, travel and tourism in Italy is expected to generate €237.4 billion in 2025 and support 3.2 million jobs. International visitor spending is forecast to reach €60.4 billion next year.
