World of Hyatt and Reese’s Book Club Bring Back Camp Unwritten for Summer 2026
World of Hyatt is bringing back Camp Unwritten for a second season in collaboration with Reese’s Book Club, part of Hello Sunshine. Following its introduction in 2025, the programme returns this summer with new outdoor experiences designed for members who want to step away from daily routines and spend time reading, connecting with others and enjoying nature.
The initiative invites World of Hyatt members to take part in literary-themed glamping experiences at Under Canvas Yosemite and ULUM Moab, where books, discussions and outdoor activities are combined with stays in nature-focused settings.

Katie Casey, AVP, Global Marketing at World of Hyatt, said the programme was created in response to members seeking shared experiences and opportunities to connect outside digital spaces. She noted that the first Camp Unwritten events encouraged conversations, new friendships and time spent outdoors.
Camps Inspired by Romance and Thriller Stories
Through its continued collaboration with Reese’s Book Club, World of Hyatt will host two limited-time camps this summer. Each event will focus on a different literary genre, pairing outdoor travel with author-led discussions and activities inspired by the books.
The camps are designed for adults seeking a change of pace, offering time for reading, conversation, and social gatherings in scenic environments.
May 4–6 | Love Stories Under the Stars – Under Canvas Yosemite
Located near Yosemite National Park, Under Canvas Yosemite offers safari-style lodgings and nature-focused experiences. The season’s inaugural Camp Unwritten event will be held here, featuring bestselling author Rainbow Rowell, whose novel Cherry Baby is set for release in April 2026. The programme will include discussions, group activities, and opportunities for guests to connect while exploring themes related to romance fiction. Another author from Reese’s Book Club will also join the event.
June 8–10 | Plot Twists in the Desert – ULUM Moab
The second event will be held at ULUM Moab, near Looking Glass Arch and Canyonlands National Park. It will focus on thriller and suspense fiction, with authors Lauren Ling Brown and Andrea Bartz leading discussions and interactive sessions. The programme will blend literary conversations with activities inspired by the surrounding desert landscape.
Maureen Polo, CEO of Hello Sunshine, said the collaboration with World of Hyatt aims to bring stories beyond the page by creating opportunities for readers to meet authors, engage in conversations, and enjoy time together in outdoor settings.

Members of Reese’s Book Club can also earn 500 bonus points per eligible stay at Under Canvas destinations during the same period.
