APPOINTMENT
Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills Appoints Scott Berger as General Manager

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills has appointed Scott Berger as General Manager, effective 6 April 2026. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations.
Berger joins from The Peninsula London, where he most recently served as Hotel Manager and completed leadership training across the brand’s portfolio. His earlier experience includes roles at properties in Los Angeles, as well as a regional general manager position overseeing a West Coast portfolio for a hospitality group during the pandemic.
He began his career in Beverly Hills, spending 15 years at a local hotel, advancing from Assistant Front Office Manager to Hotel Manager. Alongside his operational experience, Berger has been involved in local organisations, including serving as Chair of the Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau for 2023–24, holding board positions with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, and participating in the Beverly Hills Rotary.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

The Waldorf Astoria appointment follows recent developments at the hotel, including the February 2026 opening of Baldi, a Tuscan steakhouse led by Edoardo Baldi. The property’s rooftop space is also undergoing a redesign by Marc Ange, with a new outdoor dining concept led by Peleg Miron expected to open in early May.
