Tiamo Beach Resort & Spa Appoints Romie Morris as General Manager

Tiamo Beach Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Romie Morris as General Manager, marking a key leadership addition as the boutique wellness resort strengthens its positioning in Jamaica’s hospitality landscape.

Located in Runaway Bay, St. Ann, Tiamo Beach Resort & Spa is a newly established oceanfront property focused on delivering personalised service and wellness-led guest experiences.

Morris brings over 14 years of experience across hospitality sales, marketing, revenue management, and operations. His career spans leadership roles with leading hospitality brands in Jamaica, including Tiamo Beach Resort & Spa, S Hotels Jamaica, Hyatt, and Half Moon.

Most recently, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing at S Hotels Jamaica. Prior to this, he held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing with Hyatt, based in Montego Bay, and earlier worked as Senior Group Sales Manager at Half Moon.

His career progression also includes roles within Hyatt’s group sales division, where he managed sales operations across multiple luxury all-inclusive resorts in Montego Bay. He began his hospitality journey in guest-facing roles at Half Moon before transitioning into sales leadership.

In his new role, Morris will oversee overall operations, strategic growth, and guest experience at the resort, with a focus on strengthening its positioning as a wellness destination.

The appointment reflects the resort’s focus on experienced leadership as it builds its presence in Jamaica’s boutique luxury hospitality segment.
