Based at the group’s headquarters in Hong Kong, Schroeder will oversee operations across Langham Hospitality’s global portfolio of more than 30 hotels and residences. He will also support the opening and integration of more than 20 properties currently under development.
Schroeder brings over 30 years of hospitality experience, having held leadership roles across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
He joins the company from Raffles and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Europe and Africa. Earlier in his career, he held senior regional and global leadership roles with Hilton and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.

Commenting on the appointment, Bob van den Oord, Chief Executive Officer of Langham Hospitality Group, said Schroeder’s international experience across different markets and hotel segments will support the group’s continued expansion while maintaining its brand standards.
Schroeder’s appointment further reinforces the company’s leadership as it grows its international hotel portfolio.
